Born and raised in Cayman, Linda is passionate about the natural beauty Cayman has to offer. Linda learnt to dive at age 12 in Cayman's unique George Town harbour confirming her admiration for the marine environment, later training to become a Dive Master. Having worked as a professional accountant for 11 years in both Cayman and overseas, Linda is currently undertaking a Masters degree in the UK in Marine Environmental Management. Upon completion of her degree, Linda hopes to lead and inspire positive change in human behaviour towards environmental stewardship in Cayman's three breathtaking islands for current and future generations of both locals and visitors.
Cayman's islands are rapidly losing important habitat faced by numerous human-induced threats. Plastic pollution is pervasive in both the terrestrial and marine environment. We must turn off the tap, change our consumption patterns and improve waste management or risk living on planet plastic.
